    Cadence (short film)

    Description: Cadence is an abstract experimental film put on music. The events of the film are centred on two characters, a man and a woman, within one day in an apartment. What starts as a usual day later reveals that the characters are being observed by someone from the outside. The character’s unease makes her be in a constant suspicion that someone else is present in an apartment. The film explores the themes of alienation and distrust through the metaphor of surveillance and persecution, as well as persistence of one’s (traumatic) memory over the time.     Narcissus

    Set beside his reflection on the river Narcissus is absorbed by his own reflection. The painting attempts to emphasize the duality between Narcissus beauty and arrogance. Referring to Salvador Dali’s “Metamorphosis of Narcissus” the painting “Narcissus” presents it as only a flower, embedding the process of transformation of Narcissus trapped in a continuous cycle of death and rebirth with the flower symbolizing the end of the transformation.
